Sool (술) simply means "alcoholic beverage" in Korean. But the word is also used to describe the diverse array of boozy bevs particular to Korea — from cheap-as-water soju to sophisticated, Michellin-ready rice wines.

In this sense, “sool” is also an eloquent and evolving expression of Korean culture, craftsmanship, and place.

We founded cult. because we wanted to share our love of sool and to celebrate the Korean craft brewers behind Korea's vibrant traditional brewing scene.

To that end, we’re excited to be working with independent craft breweries across Korea to introduce quality 술 to Europe.
