About
We don't really have an inspirational mission statement. We tried to write one, but then we remembered that 'missions' are for Jesuit priests and secret agents and we are certainly neither of those things.
Simply put, we founded cult. because we wanted to share our love of sool and to celebrate the producers behind Korea's vibrant traditional brewing scene.
We work directly with independent craft breweries across Korea to introduce quality 술 to Europe. We take no credit for the beautiful flavors and craftsmanship you'll find in our catalog; our role is that of curators, translators, and enthusiastic promoters. We proudly carry all products under their original labels.
In the same spirit, we also help Korean businesses navigate the EU market with affordable compliance guidance and consulting services.

Team
cult. is, above all, a passion project. We're a two-person team, helped along by an irreplaceable supporting cast of friends, partners, advisors, and people who keep us caffeinated and well-served.
Note: We — Katryna and Julián — are not Korean and sool is not part of our heritage. For this reason, we believe we have an added responsibility to center sool's origins, champion Korean brewing traditions, and generally be conscientious business partners and respectful participants in sool's revival and "new wave."
We take this commitment seriously, and are open to answer questions about it — so feel free to get in touch.

Importing and distributing alcohol in Europe involves a lot of complexity, regulation, and red tape. In fact, if we'd known just how much work it would be, we may have second-guessed our project altogether. But luckily we didn't know, and so we figured things out as we went — mostly the hard way.
That experience gave us a detailed, first-hand understanding of the process, and a real desire to make it easier for others.
Now, we help Korean companies plan and execute alcohol imports into the EU with clear, practical compliance guidance. Our work covers product classification, labeling, ingredient screening, packaging checks, import process mapping, and market-entry recommendations.

We want to help people discover sool in a way that feels approachable, whether that means learning a bit more about what’s in the glass, finding the right food pairing, or simply enjoying something new.
Education is a big part of our approach, but it’s never meant to feel heavy or formal. We’re currently building an event calendar for F/W 2026, working with local restaurants and bars, and creating simple materials that help tell the story behind each bottle in a clear, thoughtful way.
