It is made exclusively with 100% pure Bonghwa glutinous rice, organic wheat, and a house-made yeast cultivated from local pine needles. This self-fermented yeast provides the drink with its distinctive flavor and aroma.

Fox Forest is brewed using double fermentation (Iyangju method), followed by an extended aging period at low temperatures.

The resulting makgeolli is smooth, velvety, and layered—characterized by fragrant aromas of apples, grapes, plum, and peach blossoms, underpinned by a mellow grain-derived sweetness and restrained acidity. The subtlety and depth of its profile, paired with a clean, enduring finish, make it exceptionally drinkable.
